The 19th Irish Cup

Dear competitor at the AKJU TEAM AMERICA,

I am sending this out to the people that have shown interest to compete at the 19th Irish Cup in Dublin Ireland and the chance to reserve your spot for the 19th Irish Cup.

We will be going to Venice Italy first, This is a once in  a life time trip as we may never get this price again.  Open the attachment, to see all the information.

The travel agency has given me written proof that they will give a $100 dollar Gas Card for the first person that pays in full and a $50 gas card for the first person who pays the 1/2 cost of the trip.

I have so far locked in 30 spaces for the trip. If more goes I would have to have the deposit in as soon as possible to get the other spaces locked in at that same price.(Don't put it off for the last minute.)

Aaron Booth check out the cost and it was around $5,000 per person Out cost is $2750 from Chicago where we will depart from.

For the agency to add on the fare from Columbus it would run around $350 to $400 per-person.  We can get the fare for around $170 to $235. (Ever body meets in Chicago O’Hara Airport) the time we depart and arrive

I have a lot of people who has ask about the trip and want to go. If you are want to go, now it the time to act and get your deposit in.

Check out your passport and make sure it is up to date.  I have to renew and mailed it out October 28, as my Passport will expire in July 12, 2015.   I never want my Passport to expire before I do. There are too many places to go, see and do.

Come with us to see and enjoy life to the fullest.  I do, and I love it all.

West Coast National

Thanks To Everyone!

The Sensei's and Students who stayed for the whole tournament!

Dear Sensei's & Students
I would like to thank all those who came to the West Coast Nationals July 16.
I was still very pleased with the refereeing and the sportsmanship from the people from the west coast.
We will be going to Dublin, Ireland, June 2015 for the 19th Irish Cup, and all of you have the certificate to show that you have qualified to travel Internationally with the AKJU TEAM AMERICA, which is a registered International team and the travel funds are non profit.
We are able to get a reduced rate or at a much lower cost for those who travel with the team.  Once I received the deposit I can then write a sponsor letter and show how to get sponsors.  Some are able to get sponsors and other are not.
That all depends on you.
The AKJU TEAM AMERICA will only be holding this competition once a year, we do this with the help of Rodney Peoples from Pine Grove, CA. Rodney was my student when he was around 14-15 years old. You all may know Rodney as he and his students who are very well involved and compete at all the other tournaments around the area.
I hope you will pass the word to all the other instructor in and out of the area, to compete next year, We have always tried to run a fair, safe and fun tournament with a chance to travel and compete international.
We see the world and have traveled to 23 different countries in the last 18 years. Our Motto is
"We Travel, We fight, we Win !!!" and do look at our web page
Don Madden
We also want to thank Nichole Mulford (Amador County Veterans.org) for singing the National Anthem.
